Once a year Uncle Gregory came motoring down the Chesapeake in his classic run-about. Dressed like a polar bear he would claxon at our landing dock and we would run out and jump in. Cold but luxurious in leather and mahogany we would go and select our year-end crate of Champagne. It had been a Christmas family tradition, I believe for over fifty years.
